The top scorer of Podravka Vegeta, Andrea Penezić, is slowly becoming a real "scoring machine". Her plan for Sunday is simple: deliver many balls behind Lunde's back.

Podravka Vegeta earned their first points in the very last minute winning by only one goal last weekend.

“We started well against Byasen in defence as well as in offence. Than we allowed our opponents come closer. We made too many mistakes and Byasen won the first half with margin of three goals. At the beginning of the second half we simply knew we had to win so we concentrated and won the match,“ Penezić said.

But the next rival is toughest of them all – CL Champion Viborg. These two rivals met many times in last years. Danish team has better statistics, but in 2007 Croatians surprised Viborg in Koprivnica winning by 32:31.

Jakob Vestergaard highly appreciates Podravka Vegeta. He also knows very well qualities of Croatian backs. For sure he will prepare special tactics to stop powerful shots by Penezić.

“Two points won in last round are very important for us before the match against Viborg. This means additional motivation for our team. Now we can welcome CL Champion with good spirit. Viborg are for sure the best team in our group and we will perform accordingly,“ concluded Penezić.
