Top performance needed in Ljubljana

CL semi-finals in 2006 and quarter-finals in 2007 are the brightest moments of Aalborg in Champions League. After three years they managed to return in elite handball competition for ladies. Vojčić was one of the best players in CL qualifications:

“Qualifications were easy because our group was not really difficult. We played without any pressure, in front of our own audience, so it wasn't difficult,“ said Vojčić.

In group stage came stronger opponents. Despite excellent atmosphere in first round Aalborg suffered home defeat from powerful Hypo:

“Hypo is traditionally good; playing in semi-finals in last years. Their good performance was not a surprise.“

Next round match in Ljubljana could be great opportunity for Aalborg. Goalkeeper knows how to get points in Ljubljana:

“Last year Krim managed to defeat Viborg who won the title. They are good team with some really great players. The most important thing will be to give our maximum. That way, result will come for sure.“
