Only a miracle could help Rutenka

The defeat in the Quijote Arena is not the only problem for Ciudad Real coach, Talant Dujshebaev. On top of all, Siarhei Rutenka will probably miss the second game of Champions League final.

Rutenka suffered an injury in his right shoulder after a collision in the second half of the first leg. The doctor of Ciudad Real is really pessimistic about the chances of Rutenka to play the game.

Miguel Angel López comments:

“It is not probable that Rutenka could play in Germany. A miracle would be needed now.”

Rutenka cannot move his right arm in the next days and a physiotherapist will work with him.

Petar Metlicic isn’t completely fit either. The Croatian felt pain in his left wrist after blocking a shot. Metlicic had this wrist injury for some time now, but he is optimistic to play in Kiel.

Coach Dujshebaev can also count on Urios Fonseca this time. The line player has recovered from his knee injury.
