New name for new beginning

The Spanish champion Elda started the Champions League Group Matches with three defeats. On top of all, two of these on home court.

Still nothing is decided in Group B yet. The Spanish team hope that playing under their new name, Prosolia Gaviota Elda Prestigio, their luck will change next year for the return games in the CL.

Air of optimism

Despite the recent defeat suffered at home against Hypo, Elda are not discouraged. Coach Diana Box is determined to continue the hard work:

“We have really tough opponents in our group and our plan stays the same. We will analyse our matches and work hard to improve. Nothing is changed, we will continue to fight in the three rounds left and we will give our best at every single game we play.”

There will be some reinforcement for the team of Diana Box. The injured Brasilian line player, Fabiana Carvalho, is expected to return in January, which is a good news for the team.
