Players follow Tadici

Valcea secured their future, but Tadici is concerned that the club may lose the best line player in the world.

There's real unity in Valcea: eight players sign at the same timeRight after coach Tadici signed a new contract with Valcea for the next 2 years, 8 players put their signatures on the new deals offered by the club.

No less than 10 contracts will expire in June: Elisei, Bese, Cherascu, Dinu, Gatzel, Stanca, Lecusanu, Luca, Maier and Paslaru have already signed their new agreements with Oltchim for the next 2 seasons.

Narcisa Lecusanu asked for more time to think about it, while the best line player of last World Championship in France, Ionela Stanca, still hesitates. Tadici was not happy when he heard about this.

“Stanca should not forget that Valcea made her what she is right now. When she came to us 2 years ago, she was half this good player. She only did well the attack, but now she is the best in the world on her position. I’m a man with principles: I will not tell her a single word anymore about the contract unless she comes to me and expresses her will to continue with Valcea,” said Tadici.

Stanca is rumoured to leave Oltchim for great rivals Rulmentul Brasov this summer. In fact, the general manager of the team, Constantin Roibu, was the one who told this information to the press right after Rulmentul have beaten Valcea in the Romanian championship. Yet, Stanca did not sign with Brasov so far and she is alleged to consider other offers from Danish top teams.
