Pálinger Prepares to Move to Spain

Katalin Pálinger is preparing to leave Slovenian Krim Mercator Ljubjana. The Hungarian international goalkeeper will move from Slovenia to Spain.

After the quarterfinal defeat in the Champions League, Katalin Pálinger was very disappointed. “I’m not sure what we will do now as we do not have rivals in the Slovenian national league,” said Pálinger.

The goalkeeper arrived in Slovenia from Denmark. She was attracted by the closeness of her home country and by the great ambitions of Krim. However, she is now about to leave Ljubljana and Slovenia.

“It is true. It’s not that I do not feel good here or something would be wrong, but I’m leaving because of my private life,” the 28-year old goalkeeper commented. She added that she does not have a contract to another club yet.  

“I will go to Spain,” Pálinger says, which is not really surprising as her boyfriend, Iker Romero, plays for Barcelona.
