Slovenia's Krim Mercator can hardly wait for the first semi-final match of the Women's Champions League. It will be their fifth time that they have reached this stage of the competition. They are aware how difficult the mission is, which is waiting for them.

"Over the last few days all our thoughts have been focused on Aalborg. We know how good the Danish team is and we have to be very well prepared,"said pivot Katja Kurent who has been having some problmes with a skin alergy, but she says that this will not stop her from playing in Denmark.

Focusing only on their own game

As has been the case throughout the season, Krim's coach Tone Tiselj has problems in the team with injuries and illness. He hopes that all players will be on form for Easter Monday . "More than Aalborg, we are worried about who will be able to play in first match. At this moment in time only two players - Maryna Vergelyuk and Luminta Dinu - are optimally prepared," said Tiselj.

The coach, who has taken the Slovenian club to the top of Europe twice, and is fully is aware about what is waitnig for them: "In Aalborg's team, which was created artifically, there are qualitive players. Norwegian, Danish, Swedish, Romanian and Duth national players who are superb in thier position. We know just one thing - and that is not to repeat the match we played in the 1st legs against Viborg and Lada. Great defence is our first goal."

So who will be better in GigantArena? Aalborg who is participating in the Champions League for the first time, or Krim -an old acquaintance in this competition.
