Šarić: We can beat Ciudad Real

The Serbian international signed for FC Barcelona during the summer after playing for Portland San Antonio. Prior to that he played for Ademar Leon and Cantabria in the Spanish league.

The 32-year old goalkeeper says that his new club is a dream come true:

“It's a wonderful feeling to sign for such a great club. The most important thing will be to finish the season with trophies.”

Rutenka, Šarić, Igropulo and Sarmiento were also signed for FCB. This shows that the Catalonians did everything in order to get their squad ready for Spanish and European challenges. This can be a great opportunity for the team of Xavi Pascual.

Last time Barcelona won a CL title was in 2005 and the last Spanish Championship title was in 2006. After four years, Šarić is convinced that time has come to overcome the biggest rival:

“With this squad we can take the supremacy back from Ciudad Real. For sure we will give our best for it.”
