Cervars wish: To avoid Ciudad Real

The primary target of Croatia Osiguranje Zagreb is achieved. The team of Lino Cervar reached the main round with two points. The Croats are still unbeaten in the CL – to be precise, they have four victories and two draws.

Ciudad Real, Kiel, Hamburg, Reale Ademar, Löwen and Zagreb are the only six undefeated teams in the CL.

Injuries are constant problem for the squad. The most important player, Ivano Balic, played only two matches so far. After his return to the team, Zagreb can have even greater expectations.

Only one wish

Since Löwen won Group H, it is certain that Zagreb will not play against any of the German teams in the main round. This is satisfying for the Croatians.

As always, Lino Cervar is focused on his team’s performance. However, he has a wish for the draw on Tuesday.

“We have to think about our game. It is not important who we will play against. Many things can be done to improve our game and this is something that we have to focus on. My only wish is to avoid Ciudad Real,” Lino Cervar told Croatian TV.
