The Slovenian national team goalkeeper can help Celje already on Sunday in Chambery.
Lapajne to replace Skof
The Slovenian champion Celje Pivovarna Laško solved the goalkeeper problem. After Gorazd Škof left the team to join Zagreb, Celje quickly signed Beno Lapajne.
One of the best Slovenian goalkeepers decided to terminate his contract with the Spanish Aragon before time and returned to Slovenia. He signed a two-year contract with Celje where he already played in 1991/92 season and between ‘96 and ‘99.
The 35-year old can join the team already in the first round of the Champions League on Sunday against Chambery.
Celje have three goalkeepers now, Beno Lapajne, Aljoša Rezar and Aljoša Čudič.
