Suspension of Roman Pungartnik of Vfl Gummersbach for one EHF match

Vienna, 15 November 2007 - The EHF Body of 1st Instance has dealt with the case of Roman Pungartnik - player from Vfl Gummersbach/GER. The body was called together following the direct disqualification of the player in the last minute of the EHF Champions League Group match between MKB Veszprém KC/HUN and Vfl Gummersbach/GER, which was awarded for an action of unsportsmannlike conduct.

As a result, Pungartnik has been suspended for one match of an EHF club competition, which means that he will not be eligible to play in the next Men's Champions League Group Match (Vfl Gummersbach/GER vs Valur Reykjavik/ISL on 18th November 2007 in Cologne).
