Awarding of Ivano Balic

Readers of World Handball Magazine and visitors of IHF website have elected Portland San Antonio star, Croatian national player, Ivano Balic the World Handball Player of the year 2006.

This award confirms once again that Balic is among the few top players in the world of handball today. The Croatian player will be handed over the award at a Croatian gala evening in Zagreb on 22 October.

The best handball player of Croatia will also be elected on this occasion in the Sheraton Hotel of Zagreb.
