Quiz Winner Gets Signed CL Ball

As promised, the winner of the Men’s Champions League quiz in the season 2006/07 was awarded VIP tickets for the final.

In fact, Martin Koch lives just 30 kilometres from Flensburg. The winner and EHF Marketing agreed that instead of the original prize – travel costs and accommodation – Martin will receive VIP tickets for both final games. A very happy Martin Koch talked to us after the first leg:

“It was a great experience for me. The atmosphere was special with all the Kiel fans as well – normally guest supporters are not present in such a great number,” said Martin.

“I had the pleasure to meet some of my favourite stars. The highlight for me was when Lars Christiansen gave the official Champions League ball to me with the signatures of all Flensburg players.

“I’m not happy to say, but I feel that Kiel have better chance for the cup at home. It will be a very tough game for us,” added Martin.

The organisers of the CL Quiz, EHF Marketing, are pleased that the tickets went to a true handball fan who had an unforgettable experience at the games.
