Suspension of Ljubomir Vranjes of SG Flensburg-Handewitt for one EHF match

Vienna, 6 April 2007 - The EHF Body of 1st Instance has dealt with the case of Ljubomir Vranjes - player from SG Flensburg-Handewitt/GER. The body was called together following the direct disqualification of the player in the last minute of the semi-final Champions League match between BM Valladolid/ESP and SG Flensburg-Handewitt/GER, which was awarded for an action of unsportsmannlike conduct. As a result, Vranjes has been suspended for one EHF match, which means that he will not be eligible to play in the Men's Champions League Finals (1st leg on 22nd April 2007).
