VELUX EHF FINAL4 tram unveiledAt the launch event of the VELUX EHF Champions League on 6 September 2011 in Cologne (GER), organisers of the VELUX EHF FINAL4, EHF Marketing GmbH, the European Handball Federation’s marketing arm, unveiled their latest advertising tool, a specially branded VELUX EHF FINAL4 tram. With the branding of this modern tram, EHF Marketing GmbH have created an effective 200 square metre advertising space in the City of Cologne, promoting the event throughout the year on its return to the city for the third year in a row.
Areas such as joints, handles as well as doors and windows in particular required careful and painstaking work. In total 350 man hours were required to complete the branding of the tram. Travelling on Line 1 in the city to and from the LANXESS arena daily, the tram will travel more than 100,000 km and carry an estimated 500,000 people through the City of Cologne right up to the completion of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 at the end of May 2012. The brand new tram, which was driven for the first time at a special ceremony by Manfred Wolf, Mayor of Cologne and Michael Wiederer, EHF Secretary General will travel through Cologne for the next year, right up until the end of the VELUX EHF FINAL4 event.
