Wildcard places announced

Following the nomination of five teams for the VELUX EHF Champions League Wildcard tournament, the EHF Executive Committee, at its meeting in Malta on 17/18 June 2011, reached a decision on the teams that will be allocated the four available places.

The composition of the tournament, which will be played in a final-four format on the weekend of 3/4 September 2011, is as follows:

Spain - Cuatro Rayas BM Valladolid
Germany - Rhein-Neckar Löwen
France - Dunkerque HB Grand Littoral
Poland - KS Vive Targi Kielce

The EHF will invite applications from the four participating clubs for the organisation right of the Wildcard tournament in the coming week.
