Preparations begin for the 2011/12 season

Friday, 10 June 2011 is the deadline for clubs wanting to register for a place in the VELUX EHF Champions League and the EHF Women’s Champions League in the 2011/12 season.

Clubs wishing to register are required to send their competed registration documents and deposit to the EHF Office in Vienna by this deadline.

On Tuesday, 14 June the EHF will publish a list of all clubs that have submitted their registrations as well as the clubs that are candidates for a place in the VELUX EHF Champions League Wild Card tournament.

The decisions regarding the participation of clubs in the men’s and women’s competitions, as well as the awarding of places in the Wild Card Tournament will be made by the EHF Executive Committee on Saturday 18 June 2011.

The issue of the venue for the Wild Card Tournament in the men’s competition will be handled in a separate procedure later on after the local situation of possible organisers have been evaluated.

VELUX EHF Champions League / EHF Women’s Champions League Draws

The draw for the VELUX EHF Champions League and the EHF Women’s Champions League Qualification Groups will take place at the EHF Office in Vienna on Monday, 27 June 2011 at 16.00 hrs.

The draw for the Group Phase of the 2011/12 VELUX EHF Champions League and the Group Matches of the EHF Women’s Champions League will be made from 11.00 hrs on Tuesday morning, 28 June 2011 at the Gartenhotel Altmannsdorf in Vienna.

EHF Club Competition Draws

The first draw of the new season for the remaining EHF club competitions, such as the EHF Cup, Cup Winners’ Cup and Challenge Cup (Men and Women) will take place on Tuesday, 26 July 2011 at 11.00 hrs at the EHF Office in Vienna.
