Is Vori on his way to the Bundesliga?
Igor Vori has informed the club that he wants to dissolve his contract and terminate his partnership with the club. Vori arrived in Zagreb in 2007 from Barcelona. At that time he was contracted to the Spanish club and Zagreb paid 125,000 Euro to release him from Barcelona and bring him to Croatia. Initially, Vori signed a 3-year contract with Zagreb with a get-out clause after two years which he has decided to put into effect.

At this moment, it is uncertain where Vori will be playing come the start of the Group Phase in the autumn of 2009. Rumour has it that he has had various offers from German clubs, especially HSV Handball is very interested to sign Vori. Could Vori be headed for the Bundesliga?
However, it is certain that at this moment that Vori - voted the best pivot in the world and the World Championship MVP - is most desired player on handball market. TEXT: Ivan Ambroš
