EHF CL Qualifications Drawn

The draws for the men’s and women’s qualifications for the 2008/09 EHF Champions League season was carried out on Tuesday, 1 July 2008, at 11.00hrs in the EHF Headquarters, Vienna.

Men’s EHF Champions League

The winner of the knock out matches (played on 6/7 and 13/14 September 2008) will join the teams of the Men’s EHF Champions League in the Group Phase.

Right to organise a qualification tournament

Following the draw of the teams, the organisational rights of the qualification tournaments have also been decided by draw. The teams drawn into the following rows have the right to host the qualification tournament groups.

EHF Champions League Group Phase Draw

The 2008/2009 Men’s and Women’s Champions League Group Phase draw will take place during the course of the 2008 Women’s 18 European Open and the Partille Cup, the world’s largest youth handball tournament.

The official draw event will be carried out on 4 July 2008 at 18:30 hrs in the Scandinavium Arena of Gothenburg, Sweden.
