Lino Cervar in Zagreb?

Coach Nenad Kljaic was sacked last week from Zagreb. An official press conference will be held tomorrow where the new coach will be announced. However, it is alleged that the new coach of CO Zagreb will be Lino Cervar, one of the best handball coaches in the world.

Lino Cervar is the coach of the Croatian national team. He is the most successful Croatian coach ever with gold medals from the 2003 World Championship and the 2004 Olympic Games. He was coach of Zagreb before, but he resigned because he wanted to concentrate on the national team and on writing a book. His profession is teacher and his great passion besides handball is literature and writing.

With Lino Cervar on the bench and players such as Igor Vori, Mirza Dzomba, Kiril Lazarov, Vlado Sola and Nikša Kaleb, Zagreb would be ready for the CL challenges.
