2007/08 Men's CL Finalised

The European Handball Federation has finalised the list of the participating teams of the 2007/08 EHF Men’s Champions League with THW Kiel taking the top position as defending champions.

The champions from Greece and Luxemburg have not used their right to participate in the competition and the Executive Committee of the EHF therefore awarded FC Barcelona (ESP) and Viborg HK (DEN) with a wildcard for the participation at the 2007/08 EHF Men’s Champions League.

Both teams, however, will have to play the qualification round on September 01/02 (first leg) and September 08/09 (second leg) on their way to the group matches. Consequently, the order of the seeding within the teams of the qualification was adapted accordingly and the teams were divided into four pots according to their position. 

The Group Matches will be drawn on the evening of June 29, 2007, at the UNIQA Tower in Vienna, as part of the EHF Champions League Gala event.
