Pamplona are Ready for a Great Match

University Pavilion are ready for the decisive match of the quarterfinals between Portland San Antonio and BM. Ciudad Real.

The team of Raul Gonzalez have five goals advantage and the score was low score in the first match, but the ban of Djushevaev and the pressure of the Portland fans can balance the picture.

Ciudad Real arrive in Pamplona on Saturday at 17.45 hrs and afterwards will have a training session.

Solvenian Uros Zorman and Swedish Jonas Kallman were not present at the last training session, but it is probable that both will play on Sunday.

Few substitution possibilities for Ciudad

The main problem for Raul Gonzalez is the back line, where he can count only on five players (Metlicic, Stefansson, Zorman, Entrerríos and Rutenka).

It is still not known whether Rocas could play. The Catalonian winger must wait until Saturday to know if he could recover from his shoulder injury. It is sure that Rocas will not be 100% fit, but he wants to help his team.

If Rocas cannot play, Ruesga will play on the right wing again and the Spanish junior international, Gurbindo.

Confident players, packed arena

The Portland players know that it would be very difficult to go on, but they are optimistic. Javier Equisoain hopes that his team could repeat the good performance shown in the first half of the match in Ciudad Real.

The UPNA Pavilion will be filled with Portland fans ready to help their team reach the Champions League semi-finals.

The match will be on Sunday at 18.00 hrs. The referees will be Darko Repensek and Janko Pozeznik from Slovenia. The EHF delegate will be the Jiri Konecny from the Czech Republic.
